Welcome to St John’s

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) is located four miles outside of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, about a half mile from the Quakertown Interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. You can find directions here.

Services

Worship service is 9:30 AM. Sunday school is from 9:15-10:15 AM. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.

Community

The members and leadership of St. John’s strive to create a sense of community within our church. The number of social events we’ve held over the last few years has increased every year and we expect that it will continue to increase. We have a great time together.

St. John’s has one of the best attended and most respected Sunday Schools in the area. Besides comfortable, modern facilities we have a great staff.

St. John’s reaches out regularly to the community at-large, assisting where we can. These efforts range from assisting the less-advantaged people of our community to ecumenical (joint) services with neighboring churches.

If you’re new to the area or are “shopping around” for a new church we’d be very pleased if you would pay us a visit. St. John’s is a special kind of place.
